Msi x870e carbon code 46 issue
this happened to me again, this time on a mobo with an x870 chipset and 9800x3d. After the system restarted, one ram stick stopped lighting up and being detected and then a code 46 appeared right after pressing the reset button code 10 appeared. I had to shut down the computer completely because it didn't respond to the reset. When I turned it back on everything went back to normal but still this is an annoying situation. What could be the problem? Memory set to 6000mhz. I have had a similar problem earlier on an x670 tomahawk. I have the latest bios version. I even checked on different ram sticks still the same

Amd Expo compatibility issues seems so. Cpu memory controller doesn't agree with ram chips. Try 5600 5200 speed.

May i ask do you use cudimm ram. Cudimm rams remove this compatibility issues seriously. Only for intel cpus by the way.

They write pei code. Msi pei code 40.
Solved by replacing mobos.

Final update:
Replacement motherboard arrived, once again installed all component etc. and everything seems to be working first try. No more errors, etc.
I did see 1 red light on next to the memory modules, but read this light means the xmp profile is selected (3600mhz modules).
Will cleanup some more cables later on (keyboard cable, etc)
