My 14900k does great with Ecores disabled along with hyperthreading disabled.
Locked at 5.5ghz. Thermal GRizzly CPU contact frame is a must because the standard
socket hold down warps the die, less contact with cooler. GamersNexus did videos on it.
it does great cutting out half the performance by shutting down half the cores and then turning off hyper threading like it was 2014 all over again......
intel proving their still garbage all these years later......
ht doesnt really help that much either, since its just sharing the fpu
its forcing all the work to be done on single p core with no ht getting things done faster
which is where it counts in games
as long as the cpu has more cores than active threads its faster than with e cores and ht enabled
also much lower power draw on the cpu, which was one reason they were degrading faster
