What is the best PC controller that won't cost an arm and a leg
Currently using an Xbox 360 controller and I believe it is well overdue for an upgrade.

8BitDo makes very nice controllers that support multiple platforms and operating systems

They have an assortment of XBOX controllers, any one of them would be fine

Xbox elite 2.

I've used a Logitech F310 and a Hyperkin Knight.
Both were pretty cheap and worked fine. Admittedly I didn't jam on them for thousands of hours but I've put in a good amount of sessions and they haven't failed me yet.
Fanatec steeringwheel, great for cs2.

8-Bitdo controllers are the king these days. I used a Logitech F310 for 7 years and bought another when it died. And when this one dies I'll buy an 8-Bitdo.

I like the Gulikit King Kong 2 and 3, hall effect sticks so they won't wear out.

refurb the 360 controller you already have.....you can put new sticks in it and get whole new button sets......the sticks are the hardest part.......

real world even the new xBOT controllers do not support everything the 360 controllers do.....I know a local shop near me that will redo just the sticks for 15 bucks if you take the controller apart and just bring them the PCB......
