current link setting, usually if 170HZ you using, should be around 5.7x4 or maybe more
and check your display adapter properties on windows, check list all modes
Thanks, tried turning it off and on but no luck. Will have a look at the Display in adrenaline.
odds are you plugged a display or tv into the mobo not the dedicated gpu
Two options come to my mind:
1. After upgrading the drivers, Windows may try to enforce 4K resolution whenever possible. Some games will enforce 4K output only and let to adjust FSR scaling only. Check if you can change to 1080p or 1440p in windows and game settings.
2. The second possibility is that Windows damaged the drivers. Using DDU app to reinstall drivers may help but not always. Also make sure screen recording is not on.
If screen recording makes a difference in performance it can be a sign of faulty drivers/windows. In such case you may need to reinstall the whole system.
Thank you so much, this was the issue. Can’t believe I missed this.
Thanks so much, this is what I did wrong.
Thanks for the help, I simply didn’t plug the hdmi into the GPU, plugged it into the motherboard instead.
Thanks for the help, managed to fix this issue. HDMI not plugged into GPU
