It's what nvidia shills deserve for enabling their monopoly
2700
But, considering the 4090 founders is $3300 on Amazon right now (it's been out for HOW LONG now?!?!) I think it's safe to say the card won't realistically be anywhere close to $1999 where you can actually buy it.
The 4090 was around $1900 but they stopped making them so sellers will grab them up and relist them at higher prices when stuff like that happens.
- Gddr7
- 512bit memory bus
- 32gb vram
- No competition from team red and blue
I doubt this will sell at 4090 msrp. Mostly likely they bump the price up to 2g
This card is going to be capable to do rt well.
And scalpers & shortages will push that to 3-4k.
Considering it will be the best GPU (and 5080s second/third/etc best) they could set literally any price they want and people will still buy it up. Even if they made it cost $2800 it would still sell out within an hour and be essentially sold out for a month+. There are plenty of people who will buy "the best ______" every single release cycle regardless of cost that will ignore every option below a 5080.
The Nvidia RTX 5090 is expected to cost between $1,999 and $2,500, according to recent leaks and rumors:
Price range: The RTX 5090 is rumored to cost between $1,999 and $2,499, with the Founders Edition costing around $1,999. Overclocked cards from board partners with better coolers may cost more.
Reason for high price: The RTX 5090's high price may be due to increased manufacturing costs, the cost of adding 32GB of GDDR7 memory, and Nvidia's lack of competition from AMD.
Release date: The RTX 5090 is expected to launch in early 2025.
The RTX 5090 is rumored to have the following features:
32GB of GDDR7 memory
20,000+ CUDA cores
Blackwell GPU architecture
A clock speed of 2.9 GHz, which would make it 30% faster than the 4090
