DSC vs Native image
In few weeks I’m planning to buy a MSI 321 URX QD OLED monitor. The question is about DSC. Is it visible or it seems more like losless compresion? Where can i see the difference?

DSC is visually lossless, there is image degridation, but you are unlikely to notice any difference unless you forensically start searching for them.

Some graphics features such as DLDSR do not work when DSC is enabled.

Hey you said DSC is visually lossless, there is image degridation which is contradictory. :p

Visually, as-in, you are unlikely to notice the image degradation.

It is visually lossless as per ISO/IEC 29170.

Barely noticeable unless you look for it with a trained eye however - and this is my two cents - don't bother with qd oled monitors. I tested multiple from Samsung to msi and intermittently I'd receive a temporary black screen. Looked it up and it seems a lot of people have the same problem but are willing to ignore it because oled. Additionally the screen is unreasonably sensitive. I'm talking gently using a micro-fiber cloth and seeing visible scratches. The build quality is awful. My c1 still looks like day 1 while my s95b has visible scratches on the screen and the monitors are even worse. I'd also suggest you pay the extra 100 quid and get the glossy version from asus. No idea if the front panel is glass but you probably can ask the retailer

With that said there is nothing that comes close to the picture quality. I got a s95b and couldn't be happier with the screen after using a LG c1. Every color is vibrant and the image pops thanks to 95% bt2020 coverage. I never enjoyed hdr - and still don't to some extent - but I enable it on my s95b because unlike c1 the image on s95b doesn't look washed out

I rock a S95B too with the 9.4.1 soundbar (package deal), must be using the wrong stuff to clean as not a mark on mine and like your C1 it's like day 1.

I use an OLED monitor too but not QD, it's a ASUS ROG 27" 1440P OLED 240Hz with a LG panel and it's been the perfect monitor.

Doubt it since it's the same cloth that's suggested to clean apple nano-texture screens. No solutions used. Just the cloth

Yeah LG monitor panels don't suffer from that
