New Monitor Horizontal Lines?
Just got a new 32in 240hz AOG monitor and I'm noticing some faint horizontal lines in certain colors. Mostly in greens and blues. What could be causing this? I mean it wasn't the most expensive monitor in the world, but I still wouldn't expect it to have this kind of issue..

I've only ever owned one aoc monitor and that will be the last. It was never great quality to begin with then failed after a year or 2. I guess you get what you pay for. I bit the bullet last time and bought a Samsung G7. Never looked back.

I only really wanted it for the 240hz anyways for competitive stuff. That's why I got the cheapest one on amazon. Lesson learned I guess. I feels great otherwise. Just looks a bit dull.. I guess that's why you have multiple monitors right? lol

p.s.
It seems like disabling HDR helped quite a bit. They're still there, but it's much harder to notice.

Yeah mate it's a low end display. I'm glad you found a way to improve it I just hope it lasts for you. I don't think a monitor is the place to save money personally, particularly if you have a good PC. My motto is quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.
Iam using Titanarmy stuff, cheap yet superb , p27gn

Go check your cable to monitor, i had those line just after build my PC
Buying new cable and everything is fine

test it with a console or something else to see if its a problem with the display

does the line still appear during its turn on logo or over its osd menu?

Sounds like a manufacturing defect. Can you get it replaced?
