USB C Not Recognized after Win 10 Update
So I know there have been issues with the Win 11 and 10 January updates, so I'm assuming this is the reason, but am I the only one experiencing this? MSI B550 Gaming Plus MB, 5800X3D, 4080 Super. I use a link cable (USB C to C) for my Quest 3 headset. I have never had an issue in the past, works fine. After the update, there is power to the headset when connected, but I get a message popping up constantly in notifications about 'USB not recognised' when I connect it. All of my other USB ports seem to work fine, it's just the USB C, front and back. I went into device manager and tried updating drivers but it says it's the most up-to-date. Searching manually doesn't find anything. Should I just wait for MS to fix their most recent f-up?

^^^ This. Your USB C, (and BT if you have it), may not be a microsoft, (Mine is an Asus driver), and it will need updating from device manufacturers site.

I had already updated the chipset drivers, but the issue persisted. I figured it out though. I need to turn the Quest 3 on first and then hook up the link cable, then the Q3 is recognised. I've never had to do that before. I just hooked it up with the headset turned off and it automatically picked it up and turned it on. Something with the Windows update obviously changed it as the Q3 software is the same.
