This Dell help page[www.dell.com] shows one solution. Tripp Lite says[www.eaton.com] you could hook up four 1920x1080 displays to a single DisplayPort 1.2 MST hub. I'm sure they're eager to sell you one. Can't really say that I've ever done that, though.
Framework 16 is best laptop I ever owned.
Any laptop with HDMI or DP out and a hub. If you are going to be doing something that is at all system intensive, and portability isn't a huge factor, look at 2018-2019 AW 17 with a GTX 1070/80. IO for days, enough power video editing/CAD and a refurbed unit should cost less than $500. I used one for over 3 years and it was great, easy access to the storage/ram too.

Mine had: GTX 1070/ i7 8750H, 16GB ram, 512GB NVME and 1TB HDD
Multiple display options too 1080/1440/4K, though I think the 4K panel is limited to 60Hz OFC.

Framework's swappable modules are a brilliant idea.

While the idea of FrameWork Laptops is nice. The Ryzen 7040 and Radeon 7700 are rather weak to be honest.

There are plenty of decent Laptopa with 13th Gen i7 / i9 or newer. It would be best to have one that supports Thunderbolt 4
