Nvidia Inspector missing option to adjust game settings
So I finally decided to try out Nvidia Inspector. After downloading it though, I noticed it was missing the option to adjust game settings though. The usual "gear/screwdriver" icon next to the GPU version wasn't there.

Did I I do something wrong or was this download an outdated version or something? I was under the impression it was always supposed to be there, and not just simply being able to show stats for my GPU.

Something went wrong while displaying this content. Refresh

That's because there are two apps similarly named. You need the Profile Inspector.

Thanks. Yeah, I saw on the forums someone mentioned that as well.
Why do gamers need that?

You're right. Normally I wouldn't use it. But some old games like Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory don't have working AA when you have HDR on as well in the graphics options. And only forcing AA through Nvidia Inspector works (the Control Panel doesn't have an option to "Override" the game's AA. Only enhance it).
Oh I see
