Not sure if it will work for you but

Corsair 4000D Airflow

I know the 5090FE is SFF ready and is smaller then the AIBs

You want Compact AND be able to use a Full ATX MB? Hmm there is no such thing. Those Cases will have to be a quite large footprint to accept 9.5in x 12.5in ATX MB.

If you want Compact then the MB basically needs to be mATX or ITX; along with the Case.

Actually compact ATX case in here not necessary has to be MAtx. It can be the size reduction from the basic design of ATX cases nowadays. Compact Atx would be when it can fit 240mm rad on top and 360mm rad on front or vice versus. Case nowadays is too spacious in design. Something more like a phantek g360a but too bad they discontinued that model this year and replaced it with standard ATX design

I'm assuming you looked at the other corsair cases but would rather go with a different brand?
If the cae can only house a 240m rad at top and not 280 or 360 then chances are it's too small for many of the larger GPUs

What did you end up going with?

Hope it has adequate Airflow for that 5090FE

still looking. its just a plan as im not sure ill get rtx 5090 fe at launch yet
You do realize that 5090 FE will run very hot and use alot more power at its peak right?

You're going to still need a decent Case that has tons of airflow. A simple case with just a couple fans WONT CUT IT

This is why I got MSI 5080 and 5090. Much better cooling. Yes they are physically larger, for good reason

Yes. But still want a case that serves enough. Not a huge empty case. It is so heavy and big to bring upstairs too. And it has to fit full atx mobo as I need those extra SSD slots
I went MATX. With the right cooling setup, it's a decent little box.
Yes I know how it is. I can't stand doing a build especially for myself that doesn't have amble space for a full ATX motherboard as I always use 3-4 drives minimum
