Should I upgrade from my GTX1050ti to a Radeon RX 6600?
So I've had my custom-built computer for 2 years now with the most recent change being a second SSD added last year. My current GPU is a GTX 1050 ti and it works well enough for the games I play, but I really wanna play games with better graphics while still at a stable framerate. Should I upgrade to the Radeon RX 6600? It costs somewhere around $250 where I live. And the 1050ti is around $85 where I live, just saying that in case I sell it to get money for the 6600. The biggest problem is that I don't have much money sobuying the 6600 can be a financial risk or whatever.

Yes definitely but it also depends on what CPU you have because if it is too bottlenecked it won't be worth it.
my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (12) @ 3.700G. would it bottleneck the GPU?
No that's a great match, you should definitely go for it, you won't regret it.
Look what you can get on used gpu market for 250$ instead.
if you can wait lil bit longer, save more money buy 6800xt, everything is shifting, 6600 once maybe a king, now it just a peasant, for 6800xt maybe once a king still a king lol
or buy used gpu, every new GPU born fomo people rise from the underground, they will sell their gpu 30series will buy 40series, and 40series will buy 50

remember in technology the more you wait, the more you will get spec better with same price, there is no rush
worthfull upgrade

intel arc gpus would be ok for dx10, ogl/vulkan and later games
for games that use dx9 or earlier the driver will be cpu heavy since it has to convert the api code to dx12 so the gpu can run it
1050 is really basic but if you can't afford it pls don't rush anything
you could actually spend less and still have a decent bump in perf
that compliments your rig
I went from 1050 to EVGA 1080 overclocked a year ago... the difference was amazing.. still running it today... Eyeing RTX but seriously.. I'm ok
I didn't have TI tho... 1050ti is old hat
