Stream deck?

Thinking about getting one but I do not want to use it to stream but to control pc functions. Fan speeds whilst in game etc, afterburner and stuff alike. Anyone do this and can tell me if its worth it?

there are better and cheaper ways

just set system fan speed profiles in bios, and gpu fan speeds in afterburner

if you want manual control over them, use a pi or arduino

You should have grabbed one during the Steam Winter sales event period. They all sold out quick.

I'm sure Valve will have more ready to shop by the time the Steam Spring sales event comes up.

Why would need to do that from Steam Deck? I've been doing that from my Phones for MANY years.

there are different versions of the deck

but yea you could have picked one up when it was on sale
