Win 11 (activation problem)

a few months ago i switched from Win 10 to 11 because i always got the notification
now the system wants me to activate it.. i thought its just a free upgrade for me since i already got win10
and if i use my win10 activation key/code it tells me that the key was already used in another device.. do i have to now switch back to win 10 or get a new key?

does the phone activation system still work?

if so, use that while offline

that is what i had to do after using my 7 license a couple of times

Win 11 activates online when you sign in with microsoft account which should already have your win 10 key registered.

Yes call the Microsoft Support # and listen for Problems Activating Windows or Problems with Activation and go from there. Have your Windows 10 Edition, where you purchased it from and product key ready for them. If they suggest it was tied to another machine, tell them yes it was, your same machine but you had no choice but to replace the Motherboard and what was the Win10 machine is no longer valid or used since that is now the Win11 machine.
