no screw found in my MOBO for m.2
i have a m.2 support thing to put m.2 ssd but i cant find it neither on my motherboard box neither on my case box. can u give me any ideeas what to unscrew or what to do? i heard that if i dont screw the m.2 it will stay at 30-50 degrees and maybe will jump

they are often in a baggie by itself

very easy to overlook and toss if you dont install the drive when assembling the build

if the board has the heatsink for the slot, that will hold it down

nope, i have a old asrock a320m because as i remember i made this setup for cheap in 2019 i remember

i see a screw but i think isnt because its the same height as m.2 slot and also that thing is to put the screw so i think ill put a bread plastic tie and put in that screw

It won't slide out, if you don't start shaking or kicking your PC case for some reason ;-) I was missing that tiny screw too. But my NVMe sits partially below GPU, so I stuck piece of foam between bottom of the GPU and top of the module. It works for me :-)

I putted a bit of double taped and now its very secure :D

Or maybe you could buy them for cheap. You could search m2 box, some of them give you spare screws. Good day :steamhappy:
