Is a another way of saying - we dont want users to stay on good w10 so we need to move them to krappy Win 11.
Good luck chumps
Microsoft is just too intrusive, seems like win 11 wants to record what you say, do, where you are, where you shop, etc. Its an OS that's geared toward data mining and it preys on a public with limited knowledge and takes full advantage of their ignorance.
The latest fiasco with Recall is beyond funny, pictures of what we do uploaded to some cloud server we have no control over. It certainly grabbed the attention of the financial industry.
And that's the Problem Microsoft have taken the Personal Out Of PC and just left you with Computer.
Well along with Other BIG brands/Sites etc, to be fair.
But In the same breath I am not saying Windows OS is rubbish far from it, it just has far to many features I don't want, need or will ever use and to top of that most of them are on by default and being built in windows.
The OS is far to busy and trying to be everything.
Microsoft would do better to strip gaming out from their Windows OS and sell a gamers version based around maybe there Xbox Gaming app with minimal or basic desktop use (emails web browser etc)
much like what Valve is doing with SteamOS3
Leaving the windows OS for pro users or business or users that need what they have to offer for productivity.
I recall reading an article a long time ago about Microsofts vision for the future. To have the OS hard coded into the mainboard like consoles, all there apps available to use and consumers will be billed per second/minute for time spent using them.
The only thing that MS does not have is competition and there will probably never be any. They have managed almost global dependency on the Windows OS.
I wouldn't believe everything you read but that wouldn't surprised either lol
Or maybe your getting mixed up with windows mini PC that has to be connected to the cloud to work and you have to pay a monthly sub but i think that was aimed at large Corporations ?
I have no issues with the OS what so ever.
I have no plans to switch to Windows 11, at least not for my main computer usage. Maybe I'll keep Windows around for certain programs/games but honestly I'd really rather stick with Windows 10.
Pretty sure there are people still using Windows 7 and they're getting along just fine.
Before then. Using windows 10 after that is an obvious security risk, just like the windows 7 users.
Also when there are those who post issues with windows 10 problems after then, will just block them as I did with windows 7 users problem posts.
