Generally Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI all make pretty good-quality stuff. EVGA used to be the best AIB partner but Nvidia screwed them over and mistreated them so they are no longer in the game.
The more you push the GPU the more noise it's going to make due to the fans ramping up. Your 2080ti has to use all of it's power in the games these days so it is naturally going to be loud.
My RTX 3080FE can play quite a lot of games without much of a problem so it stays quiet but when I play more demanding games the fans will ramp up. Which is the cause of noise.
I have since bought msi gaming cards. Cooler and good hotspot delta.
Except for when new games requires more than 10gb at 1080p. I'm happy I sold mine before the prices crashed again.
a easy task decided to go with the asus tuf 4090 as lately asus products i have bought
have not been up to par.but the tuf i bought have exceeded my expectations cases/monitors
and now so has my Asus Tuf 4090 oc edition.it will also be my next card as well probably
the 6090.
Wait for the hands on tests and reviews to release. The aftermarket RTX 50 might have slight delays too. As NVIDIA always gets first dibs on the better silicon before the rest goes out to the 3rd parties.
I got a 1440p monitor and a 4k TV so i will need a bit more power.
on a side note a friends 2080ti from EVGA was loud and then we find out that in game it has a hot spot of a 107c on the die.....all the thermal paste was squashed out of the die area.....repaste got the card back to a 74c hot spot.....
But I play it maxed out with reshade + Lut in HD res. and it works perfectly. It's very fluid!
