My point was the threat from Microsoft is less than pretty much anything else you interact with on a daily basis.
Asbestos is dangerous any time you are exposed to it. Sure if it is completely sealed, it is fine, but seals do not hold forever. There is a reason it is no longer allowed to be used like it used to be.
And Microsoft is not some saint like you want to pretend they are. They would like thousands of people die in a hearbeat if they thought that it would raise their portfolio by a few points.
"Embrace, Expand, Extinguish." They had absolutely no qualms about using illegal means to gain dominance. They got a slap on the wrist at that time, and now that it is no longer in effect, they are right back to their old games.
