xmp is overclocking and not always guaranteed, same with expo
mboo qvl is pointless, each cpu and dimm is a different piece of silicon, enjoy the lottery
the board mfg cannot test all cpu/board/dimm combos and guarantee them to work at all speeds i doubt they even test with 4 dimms
they dont even list ones that fail, so whats the point of it?
so its a completely useless list
one fix it to raise the cpus imc voltage, but that can damage the cpu
or lower the freq after enabling xmp/docp/expo until its stable
if you are mixing dimms/kits you need to find compatible freq/timings/voltage for all dimms used, you can often swap speed for timings to make up for some lower performing dimms
