or chinese phone networky thingy go kablooey
I absolutely have no knowledge at all for pc or any technology stuff
Currently at my friends house and wifi works just as fine
the phone is probably trying to remember the settings from the other router if they both used the same ssid (wifi name)
when the phone connects, there is a huge difference between it connecting and working, and saying 'not internet access'
'no internet access' means something is blocking the phones access to google services, thats it
it may work on other apps but not some google services
We have 6 devices connected to the wifi and my friend too most likely when he visits
It connects to my moms phone wifi no problem(connected)
If router is down, it will connect to tv casting wire and say "connected,no wifi" meaning i cant share screen from phone to tv
But wifi no matter if i type in correct password, it dosent say connected or anything, just saved
Cant press the wifi to open it or nothing
It like acknowledges the net but dosent connect to it
then connect using the password again
Whats interesting is i wrote wrong password on purpose too and it didnt said wrong password or anything like that but just saved
It shows like
Wifi: my moms(can connect if i tap it)
Router one(saved) tapping it does nothing
And rest is neighboor's passwords at the bottom all locked up
Step 1: Setting up your Mobile Hotspot on your PC
-Open Settings: On your Windows PC, click on the Start menu and select “Settings” (the gear
icon).
-Network & Internet: In the Settings window, click on “Network & Internet.”
Mobile Hotspot: In the left sidebar, find and select “Mobile hotspot.”
-Turn On Mobile Hotspot: Toggle the switch to turn on the mobile hotspot feature.
-Configure Network Settings: You can configure the network name (SSID) and password by
clicking on “Edit.” Make sure to note these details as you will need them to connect your phone.
Step 2: Connect your phone to your PC Hotspot:
- Open Wi-Fi Settings on Your Phone: On your smartphone, go to the settings menu and find
“Wi-Fi” or “Network & Internet.”
- Scan for Networks: Ensure that Wi-Fi is turned on, and then scan for available networks.
- Select Your PC’s Hotspot: Look for the network name (SSID) that you set up in Step 1 and
tap on it.
- Enter Password: When prompted, enter the password you configured for your hotspot.
Connect: Tap “Connect” or “Join” to establish a connection.
Step 3: Verify your connection
- Check Connection Status: Once connected, you should see a notification or an indicator
showing that you are connected to the internet via your PC’s hotspot.
- Test Internet Access: Open a web browser or any app that requires internet access on your
phone to ensure that everything is working correctly.
hold power and restart
