I don't know, I can't stand the images it creates on any upscaling DLSS or not and that isn't because of looking for anything, it's the motion that is bad.

Then again, I'm the type that hates cinema grain, blur, etc. - all things that will hide most of the problem. I also hate ghosting to the max after a head injury, so maybe that is it.

But none of those issues happen with upscaling off and monitor adjusted to not cause artifacts (the same artifacts can happen even without upscaling in some terri-bad animations and poorly optimized games anyway).

I don't believe that it's indistinguishable when one gives motion sickness and a migraine and the other does not. Don't really need a company trying to see a product to me, a Youtuber, or article-writer to tell me otherwise when reality contradicts what they say.
Lossless scaling is not even in the same ballpark as dlss and has a very clear degregation of the image with a bunch of latency.

I swear people who suggest it must be getting paid.

im thinking with 4.0 the 4080 and 4090 will be very competitive with the 5000 series.i do think the 12gb vram cards will hinder them. im skipping this gen myself.

Half the time I don't even need dlss but I've never experienced most of the things your talking about with quality dlss at 4k on a 4080.

Half the time I don't even need dlss but I've never experienced most of the things your talking about with quality dlss at 4k on a 4080.

Because visual experience is extremely subjective, just like audio. There is no standard experience that comes with it, which is why the technology gets slammed by some people and others cannot understand it.
Well, MFG is just better than cloud gaming at this point.
How cursed would it be if someone is about to run DLSS 4 and FG by lossless scaling at the same time, both running in x4 mode? lol

People need to get over the "fake frames" hill and understand that the graphics pipeline is going to change regardless of what they think of it.

Nah its far easier to hide their head in the sand and keep claiming tech they have never used themselves is bad and 'fake'.

I swear that godawful lossless scaling is all most of those claiming bad fake frames have ever used themselves as if they had tried the latest dlss and frame gen at 1440p or 4k with good base fps they wouldn't make the claims they do, everyone I know who used to cry fake frames changed their tune after actually trying it.

That pretty much sums it up, there are a select few who stick to their guns despite having used it and swear that FSR is better, but they're just fooling themselves

FSR's implementation in Cyberpunk 2077 in particular is laughably bad but people will still claim it's better than DLSS. On a 4090.

At least it works on tensor cores and not on CUDAs. It's also perfectly fine to "stabilize" the FPS at the given limit.
