Case and PSU question
I am currently in the process of finding the right PSU for my build and I have couple of psus that I'm looking at right now. They are
Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 1050W
beQuiet Straight Power 11 Gold 850W
Corsair RM850x Shift (it's almost impossible to find non shift version over here)

I originally planned to go with Dark power 13 850W but it's a bit out of my budget.

The one I like the most out of these is Corsair shift one but I have a couple of questions about it.
Since I'm planning to buy beQuiet Shadow Base 800FX will Corsair shift psu fit. On the Corsair site, it states that Shadow Base 800 is compatable with shift psu but nothing is said about Shadow Base 800FX (according to the internet, difference between FX and non FX is that FX has built in fan hub but I want to check over here just in case). Also, on beQuiet site, there are couple of images of the said case where it's clear that there is more space on the left where psu shourd is.
So onto the final question
Will Corsair RM850x Shift fit with cables into this case after the back panel is placed and how much can these cables bend (and are they safe to bend unlike 12VHPWR)

Founder another PSU with good reviews online. It's NZXT C1000 3.1. Is it better or worse than the seasonic one?

NZXT I wouldn't recommend because they've fallen off the credibility wagon after their PC rental scam, they don't deserve your hard earned cash

rougly 99% of the time you do not need anything over 1000 watts , specially today with platter disks phased out and Dvd and Cd rom drives no longer needed.

most computers have minimal wattage requirements beyond the GPU and CPU. SSD drives and case fans/ Cooling use a typically under 100watts

typically 800 watts will handle almost everything, some high profile water cooling pumps might require you to goto for 1000watts.

if you use a platter HD you can typically expect another 200 watts or more if using multi HD drives or Cd/ Dvd.

I am aware of the current situation with NZXTs rental program but I also want a good and reliable PSU. According to Cybenetics review, the NZXT C1000 ATX3.1 is a good unit and its also within my budget (and 40$ cheaper than Seasonic one).

what are the other options that fit your requirements? (also, include untiered ones. the PSU tier list's severely outdated, so it might not catch newer units.) we might be able to find good deals from... well, hopefully non-predatory companies
also, what CPU and GPU do you have, or are getting? other considerations?

These are the specs of my new PC

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
CPU Cooler: beQuiet Dark Rock Pro 5
MoBo: X870 TUF Gaming Plus WiFI
RAM: Kingston Fury 2X32GB 6000MT/s CL30
SSD (OS): Kingston Fury Renegade 500GB (I thinks its SFYRS)
SSD (Games): Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
HDD: None (I will probably add WD Red 4TB somewhere down the line)
PSU: TBD
Case: TBD
GPU: RTX 5080/5070Ti/5070/RX 9070XT

I have bought everything except PSU, Case and GPU.

These are several PSU units i found within my budget

Cougar GEX1050(i have no idea what this is)

beQuiet Straight Power 11 Gold 1000W/850W
beQuiet Pure Power 12M Gold 1000W (heard some people have problems with units that have M in their name)

Cooler Master GX III Gold 850W

Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 1050W (added it here just because its within my budget. i dont know if i trust this unit)

MSI MAG A850GL(heard its a pretty good unit)

NZXT C1000 Gold ATX3.1 1000W https://hwbusters.com/psus/nzxt-c1000-atx-v3-1-psu-review/ (this NZXT one has pretty good reviews on paper)

Seasonic Focus GX 1000W V4: https://hwbusters.com/psus/seasonic-focus-gx-1000-atx-3-2024-psu-review/ (review about inrush currents and 12V rail dropping below 11.4V worries my but i dont know if any of these problems will affect longetivity of my pc build. The ATX3.0 version has a lot better reviews than ATX3.1 V4 unit)

LC Power LC1200P V3.0 (its LC Power, im 99% this is not the good unit but decided to add it to the list)

Corsair RM850x Shift ATX3.1

Gigabyte UD1000GM(it says V2 on the box)

Antec NE1000G M ATX3.0/NE850G(i dont know if these units are fine or really bad)

FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W/850W(i dont know if these units are fine or really bad)

Deepcool PQ1000M(i dont know if these units are fine or really bad)
