Nobody is panicking over the 5070... Leaked specs have made it sound utterly disappointing. We pretty much knew that it would because NVIDIA doesn't care at all below the x80 tier.

1. 12GB VRAM just makes it too easy for AMD to compete, and leaves it with wasted potential just like the 3080 and 4070

2. CUDA core count is not much higher than the 4070 so performance can't be expected to be all that much, wouldn't surprise me if it was just 4070 Ti performance

3. Power usage increased, Blackwell might not be as efficient overall as Lovelace

4. Price is more than likely going to be way too much for a 12GB card, more than likely the 9080-XT or whatever the hell AMD is going to call it is going to compete with the 5070 if not destroy it, with at least 4GB more VRAM as a cherry on top
