Windows Update Sometimes Force Downloads Old Intel iGPU Drivers
How do I prevent it from being installed so I don't have to reinstall the latest Intel drivers again and again? My iGPU is Intel UHD 630 and I'm on a laptop so I can't really force my dGPU to render the laptop display.

How do I do that?

It's not that simple. Is the new Intel driver signed by Microsoft? If not, then windows will download one that is signed. Maybe install the newest signed driver on Intel webpage instead of the absolute newest.

If you have windows pro you can do a group policy edit to disable windows updating.

Intel's drivers are always signed off by Microsoft prior to release. Intel and Microsoft are best-est fwends.

Driver updates should be available under the "optional" heading. But not always. You can search how to disable it.

For example:

There is an app available thru MajorGeeks called "wushowhide" but as Microsoft no longer maintains it, I would steer clear.
