Best 1440p monitor 2023?

I dream about a 4K monitor, with my next PC in the near future. However i changed my mind and feel 1440p screen is a better choice.

the screen would have to work on a nvidea graphics card, 1440p, 27", and a IPS screen, and without dead pixels. What are the best options in 2023? or is it good to wait a bit?

21:9 Ultra-wide 1440p over (4K) 2160p 16:9 any day.
Along with a high refresh rate, FreeSync Premium so it is GSync compatible.
And has both HDMI and DP. So you use DP for PC Gaming.

What nVidia GPU do you have? What games and resolution can your card handle, any thoughts on upgrades? G-sync or G-sync compatible? As rule of thumb, 21:9 3440x1440 would be just awesome, assuming your GPU can handle it...

I am using GTX1080 but there are plans to upgrade the PC "soon".

I don't want ultra-wide.
27" looks the best choice for all-round use & diffrent games.
Flat IPS. don't have to be budget.

The problem is, what ppl recommend is often difficult to find them on the EU market.

Just look, find, research the model and use trusted reviewers who fully test these displays then make your decision. I doubt anyone can give you an answer on here, considering we haven't tried every monitor, especially not one as common as a 27" 1440p IPS.

My Philips 275E monitor is fine.
Colors seem alright, it supports freesync, is 75HZ, 27 inches, it looks elegant and doesn't scream "I am a gamer".
I like it. It's also not too expensive. It currently costs ~200€ at a german shop.

I know that it isn't the best, it doesn't support HDR, 75HZ also isn't that much, "just" has a 16:9 aspect ratio. But it doesn't cost as much as a mid-high end GPU and it gets the job done quite well.

thx, though design/looks doesn't matter for me regarding TV's, computers, monitors. Its all about the screen or what's under the hood. :)
