What do you guys use to control pwm fan? I'm looking for something thats easy to use

FanControl by Rem0o, that's what I used to chain my Chassis/Case Fans to my GPU Temp and CPU Temp. When under heavy load my Chassis Fan spins faster to Ramming More Air into the Case, when little to no load my Chassis Fans Slows Down to Normal Speed.

SpeedFan used to be the go to but it, as tech and software evolves it sort of faded from lack of modern support.

just set the fan curves in bios
make sure the header is set to pwm, and it can control from cpu or socket temp(sensor on the board under cpu socket)
BIOS Fan Curve makes all of that simple. No need for any software in Windows to control that. Just need GPU software so you can setup the gou clocks if you wish to change them, or change the max power level or edit the gpu fan curve.

Bios doesnt allow me to monitor gpu temp sadly

the gpu has its own monitoring, it will adjust its fan speed as needed
BIOS Fan controls are for Motherboard fan headers only. To monitor or adjust anything to do with GPU then you would use apps like MSI Afterburner. This allows full control of the gpu as well. However just for monitoring alone you can use the Xbox Gamebar (while in-game, press WINKEY+G) or use an app such as HWmonitor, HWinfo, GPU-Z

You can also use RivaTuner (RTSS) along side MSI Afterburner or HWinfo as a means to monitor CPU, RAM, GPU, VRAM and such via OSD (on-screen display) while running a game or benchmark as a much better alternative to Xbox Gamebar

If you are using AMD Vega or Radeon GPU it has gpu monitoring and tweaking within the AMD Radeon Driver Software suite

i need something that can adjust case fan speed based on gpu temp, not the gpu fan itself

as the case temps rises, so will the socket temp and cpu temp
i use asus armory crate. it's pretty easy to use, and you can set fan speed to GPU and/or CPU temp.

Manual fan controller hardware with on-screen LCD that can also tell temperature. I like to see the RPM, voltage, and random space temps without using apps. Plus this thing looks badass. Old school Thermaltake Commander F6.
Pretty cool but rather useless, since more Modern Desktop Cases don't have a Five and a Quarter or Three and a Half in a Hard Drive Bays anymore.
Some of you must be using some lousy fans or something why do you need the case fan headers to dynamically change speed. Why is it I can have Cases that have about 8x 120mm fans inside running at a static 1200rpms and all is whisper quiet. Only thing I ever hear is GPU is that's rare.

Try getting a Case that allows more fans and install decent quality fans. More fans = more airflow whilst producing less noise overall due to not having to run high enough rpms to be audible. Sure maybe if you have side panel off or you sit right next to your case you might hear them a little bit but it should never be so annoying that there is huge difference when the PC is powered off.

I have come across more and more AIO LC pumps that make more noise then all the fans in my air cooled PCs make in terms of combined noise.

More fans tend to amplify the noise more (due to resonance). And my case has 10 case fans

Ppl configure the fan speed because fan location affects pc component differently. I found intake top fans are better at cooling the cpu than any other fan location. And intake bottom fans are better for gpu. Side fans blowing right onto the mobo are even better (hafx was amazing), but many modern cases dont have those anymore

Yes I understand there isn't that one shoe fits all sort of thing.

But all too often people ask about software to control their motherboard fans... I'm like... well every Motherboard I've had since the days of WinXP comes with that software already. Course I always download from the motherboard makers website just to ensure its current/latest available; but still you get my point right. How are so many people do not know that the Motherboard maker provides this for you already?

Or something like downloading and looking through the Motherboard Model PDF Manual before you even buy that Motherboard; how is this not a normal thing people would do.

*shrugs*
most motherboard only allows you to adjust case fan speed according to cpu or mobo temps, not gpu temp
