Steam Deck isn't designed to support PC VR. Some have done it by installing Windows (not recommended), but performance is bad. At best you can maybe play something like Beatsaber.

One thing you can do is install the Steam Link app on your Quest and Stream non-VR Steam games from your Deck to a big virtual AR display. This works really well.
Oh great connecting steam deck via steam link app and playing non VR games that’s great and one more thing mate my router is old and only supports 5Ghz, will that be enough for the steam link ? And do you have any idea up to what screen size it can be stretched on Meta ?

Your 5ghz connection should be just fine.
You can stretch the screen out to ridiculous iMax theatre sizes if you want.
Alright cool mate thanks for the reply
