"Frameless" Monitors

Okay, so I took the plunge and invested in a triple monitor setup. I bought three KTC H32S17 monitors which are 32" curved, QHD, 1500R and frameless... supposedly. If you look at various adds on E-bay, YouTube and Newegg, the pictures they show are right up almost to the edge of the monitor on three sides. Well, when I got my three monitors setup, much to my surprise and dismay, I ended up with a black stripe between the three monitors that totals about 9/16" on each one. WTF??? What's the point of being "frameless" if I still have half an inch of black between each display? I reached out to KTC and even though their adds show the picture going right up almost to the edge of the display, they said that their "specs" say that there is a 5.75mm "non-display" area around the screen. Really? Then why do all your adds for this monitor show the picture right up to the edge? That was one of the features that sold me on these monitors.
So, now that I have vented on KTC, is there anything at all that can be done about these hideous black stripes on my otherwise amazing three monitor setup, or am I just being naive?
If there is nothing to be done for these monitors, are there any nice QHD (or better) 32" curved gaming monitors out there that are actually frameless as advertised?

I have only seen commercial frame-less, bezel-less monitors going for around $5k.

My theory is that people usually strong-arm these monitors gripping them at the edges which can cause cracking (hold it from the back or the bottom or even the mounting shaft) so idk, maybe companies are being very safe (RMA costs them money/loss) because most people are not-that-bright (some people have issues getting them out-of-the-box).

I have a 27" LG bezel-less monitor and it is the same situation as yours. There are black bars on the sides and top. I only have one monitor so it's not a big deal but looking at my monitor it appears to go right to the edge as there is no bezel to distract from the image. In the picture you saw that is why it may look like it is going all the way to the edge.

I don't think there is anything you can do to make it go to the edges that is how it is intended to be. Even though it states 'bezel-less' there is still a 'bezel' so to speak on the sides and top, it's just not your standard hard plastic frame.

No. And when you progress to OLED it's even worse because the picture can move around meaning the black lines vary in size. This happens on my monitor. It slowly shifts around.

oled image shifting is pixel shifting setting in the monitors menu, to help hide static image burn by burning all surrounding pixels instead of single pixels

Terms such as "frame-less" are marketing language for perceived greatly reduced single monitor picture/frame ratio. Some folk like the minimal frame design aesthetic although a single screen with a dark surround does give an improved perception of better color depth, improved brightness and contrast ratio when compared to a light or reduced size screen surround.

The effect you are looking for does not exist.

What you have bought is probably no better at two or three times more cost. If you look for tech specs of screen size against image size, then it should be quite apparent. Pictures are like newspaper headlines - they don't have to factual.

All my monitors and tv have 1mm -3mm bezel... its nice to look at. Only the picture and that's what matter

What monitor do you have, if I may ask? My KTC monitors have about 6mm around the sides and too, even though the advertised picture looks like it might be 1mm.

You might want to look for a 'bezel kit' to help hide them via fancy refraction.
