OMG I never realised your supposed to install NVME drivers!!! to maximise performance until now LOL
i had sad face error on win11, said something like winload winfile boot file not found? So i reduced the ram speed to 3000mhz , and concluded it maybe was the NVME ssd , then came across NVME drivers.
I mean the motherboard manufacturer support section doesnt even tell ya. I thought all nvme will work automatically from chipset drivers.

is everyone installing NVME drivers as standard now? and doing speed test

if you have trouble finding them, they are usually in the section next to the wifi cables

They typically do not need drivers.

there was this website , and found out that with the drivers, the NVMEs speed test performance was like optimal, it showed significant performance with latest drivers and firmware.

Im just a newb, im too afraid to update my NVME drivers without an assist tool , through device manager. I'll give you a heads up tho. They need to be updated specifically in a certain order from device manager or else it wont work. They are called NVME_DiD files.

do you mean drivers or drives?

nvme drive is much faster than sata drives (m.2 sata, m.sata, or sata ports)

as for drivers, they are included in the mobo chipset driver package
the standalone driver for nvme drives is for when using raid or a 3rd party controller that windows installer cannot see without the correct driver

They are usually part of your Motherboard Chipset Driver but yes you must install them, like all drivers for the most part
Never had to use any specific NVME drivers, keeping the motherboard chipset drivers up to date has always been enough.

You should also be checking for firmware updates, samsung specifically has had to release a few in the past to fix performance issues and accuracy of temperature reporting within magician.
