Transferring sims4 from one pc to a new one

Do I need both computers signed into steam to transfer my game add ons

If it is on your steam account, you can just log into the steam client on the new computer and install it from your library.

for saves, use gamesave manager

for the game and its addons/mods if they were installed with steam, just use steam to install them again

EA games requires EA app and account too.. just mentioning. EA app also has cloudsaves

quicker way if you have a slow connection go to the folder your game is installed to common copy sims4 folder on a external drive/usb then throw it inside the common folder on the other pc

then click install on sims 4 and select the steamlibrary were you put the sims4 folder and it will just verify instead of downloading
