mouse/keybroad logitech vs corsair?

i'm currently using the logitech g604 mouse and g613 keybroad. i want to replace them. i dont care about rgb. in fact i'm just going to turn it off. for me extra buttons are a must for any gaming mouse/keybroad. both the g604 and g613 have 6 extra buttons that are programmable. the g604 15 programmable buttons (including the 6 extra); with 4 of them being scroll up and down, tilting the scroll whell left and right.

now i'm considering from corsair the darkstar mouse and the k100 or k55 rgb pro. and from logitech the g915x keybroad and the g502x mouse. may just get another g604 instead; even if its $200 usd since i love that mouse).

including the icue and ghub software which company would be better to go with?

The g604 is only a 100 usd and it's discontinued by logitech. So anyone selling that mouse at that price is ripping you off.

i know. i will try to get it cheaper but if i need to pay $200 then i will. as i said i really love that mouse.

Corsair has gotten too expensive for these kinds of components. It's like Razer prices. And the Corsair software all sux bad.

Logitech easily has the best mice hands down. Keyboards don't really matter all that much, any mechanical Keyboard will do

using a g502x, it works good but so did my g-skill at one point, aside from that i find it lacking in build quality and pretty basic looking and feeling, also either grabbed a corrupt download for ghub or its just crap, but it kept doing nothing then erroring when installing on win 11.

ill figure the issue out though.., but with that said, im willing to bet ill be buying a new mouse quite soon when this breaks, compared to the last one that lasted for like 9 years.


as for keyboards, my last was from g-skill as well and was great (lasted the same amount of years.. when i bought them together), but very difficult to clean.

my current (new) rk96 (royal kludge), seems pretty good so far, software works, has a good feel and build quality.

side note, on wrist rests that generally come with keyboards, i find the magnetic ones a step away from the attachables that broke easily, but the magentic ones arent very strong and fall off easily (also arent lap friendly).

but the main thing i was looking for in keyboards was unsoldered switches, so one can easily replace broken switches, swap and/or clean them properly without unsoldering, which saves so much work and frustration.

pretty sure i seen a few mice (not many doing this yet) with swappable (unsoldered) switches as well.

in general, logitech is ok but nothing special and i havent tried corsair (only their psu's), or even checked them out, so i have no comment on them atm.
