I don't update for a while. Then when I do, I make a large jump. That way when I do I can move down when its bad. Still staying a head.
I don't update my video card drivers when they first come out as they always have problems i wait a few months and then download them because hopefully by then the major bugs are squashed.

that's hilarious. Planet won't buy their new AI GPU's...they just brick your old one to make you buy it. :steamlaughcry:

Like apple did to force people to buy their new phones.

So not only they messed up drivers, they also released inferior chips with smaller amount of hardware modules than in specs and they sell it for double MSRP?
Market leader...
It only effects a few 5090 overall and those will get replaced by the makers

I've had a few black screens, thought it was my cheap displayport cable acting up.

Thanks for the info, I've been running the new drivers since they were released, I update as soon as possible, no issues so far, I hope.
All of your thousands of new RTX 50 Nvidia dollars are going toward their R&D, and you are also helping Nvidia to test out their newly-released, not ready products!

Never buy new! Also wait a few months or a full year for companies to fix their issues!:steamhappy:

My rtx4060 is still up and running. I'm even playing civ7 with no issues

I think they need to just dump the 50 series cards with all it's problems and restart making the 40 series cards again. I doubt the high heat problems are going to go away since they doubled the power knowing the 4090's had issues with the 12v connectors. I also believe they rescinded stock due to the known missing ROP's on some boards shipped to the AIB's. There is no quality control with this series cards.
