you can but it is as you say you want to stay cheap heck if you want and can upgrade to a 5700x3d which then means you can get a bit higher end card but again pricing because while you wil gain fps in cpu limited games with such a processor overal you are better off with a more powerfull card if you can only get 1 component
if you can upgrade both get a 5700x3d and a 7800xt both are part of best value for buck the closest offering to this is literally the 4060 ti which aint worth it that said if you can score a good deal on second hand markets you can get better cards from nvidia

keep in mind if you have not done it since purchase you likely need to do a bios update for 5000 cpu support
ddr4 2100 is about the lowest peed ram, id look for a faster kit, unless the cl is in the single digits
it was a good build at the time
Use the old one as a HTPC or something.

Never used them but looks like they won’t ship any of the bundles to me and a drive there would be a biblical voyage. :( , I might have to look elsewhere
Why would they do that?
None of their components would benefit from it, even if you could get a block for the gpu (guess universal aio's exist...), but, still, it would cost more than a very large new upgrade for far less gain and theyed be stuck on a badly ageing system.
OP, it's time to suck it up and upgrade, you can continue to be cheap, just learn to budget and set the cash aside each paycheck, it'll pay for a new high end rig every 2 to 4 years and you'll never even notice the missing money.
upgrade to ddr4 , and 3080ti second hand, dont buy any AIO shenanigans, for 20years CPU cooler air is adequate
