configure them using amd gpu control panel, not windows
make sure amd eyefinity is not enabled
Make sure the cables are DP rated for at least 1.4 soec
primary monitor should not make a difference
after setting res/refresh, you can change primary back to the one you mainly use for games
windows taskbar can be moved to either or both
Sounds like AMD just relies upon with WinOS has available, which is 100% dumb.
Again I keep counting the reasons why AMD GPUs sux keeps adding up.
They can change it from showing the taskbar on all screens or only one screen but if switched to show the taskbar on only one screen then it will only show on the one set to "main screen" and we can't move it.
Jokes aside AMD GPUs are never worth the money. Missing features, huge hotspot delta that will degrade your gpu, GDDR6 lottery that will have you downclock your mem or the many dips you notice in different games.
I could go on and talk about zen2-4 degradation but that's irrelevant to this topic.
supporting NgreedA and the idea 8gb is all the Vram you need is DUMB.....saying that with a garbage 3080 that only has 10gbs.......
and regardless of people's egos setting refresh rate in windows itself is a great place to start......
the gpu driver would have more direct control over it
window is basically giving it suggestions, and the driver has the ability to override it
