Is google finaly dead?

it fails to provide precise search results. like at all, zero hits.
instead of precise results it gives out popular approximations and other crap.
" does not work anymore.

DDG and Startpage.

Google is still occasionally useful, provided you use &udm=14. And block it from setting cookies. And adblock the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.

No, but I’ve been using ddg for years now, never felt it to lack. I’ve found if want to find an answer to something ai is the quickest way to go. Duck.ai, or any of the others I guess.

Google has a exceptional homepage. play store. Google is on phones. etc.... they will be here tomorrow. not worried.

Hmm. Aside from the new "AI summary" thing, it seems like it's always been? But, then, I've never learned any of the search commands & gimmicks. Just put in words and hit go. /shrug

Oh Google Search you mean? Absolutely. It has been dogsh*t for years now. Youtube search is dogsh*t too.
I mean it isn't literally dead since they have so much dominance that it is a default search engine and is pushed as such, but I think a lot of people have switched away from Google.

I will admit that Google Maps is pretty good though. Not many decent competitors for that.
