Logitech GHUB Guru - A new Angle, a Windows Guru --- FIXED!
My computer shut off due to a loss of electricity. When I restarted My Logitech Keyboard is scrolling the colors. It always jumps back to my set-up of colors on the keys.

I go to the LG HUB to get my set-up back. G HUB won't open. I've had before so I did everything I knew. Restart, reload, watch 2 utubes on how to fix. They didn't work Tries AI's ideas and they didn't work. Did the start as Admin on 4 items on the C: drive at the same time.

Everything works as far as keyboard, mouse, steering wheel. I don't like the scrolling colors going across the keyboard. If I turn the light off, I can't see what key is what.

got any ideas

Well what have you tried. Mentioning videos and AI without specifying what you did just means we don't know and will make boilerplate suggestions at which point you may say , I tried that", thus wasting everyones time.

Have you tried reinstalling ghub?

1. Sorry, reload above means re-installed actually 3 or 4 times.

2. And of course re-started before and after the above.

3. Utube and AI had me go in to the C: Drive, Programs, LGHUB and run the :G: icon files with Start with ADMIN which I was already doing. It wanted to delete everything, so I did and started over.

4. I went to the Ghub website. There AI chat just ran me around in circles. That's when I went to AI.

5. I called their support, only answering during the week, so I got that maybe tomorrow.

6. I've unplugged all the GHUB items and tried to get the HUB to open. Nope, just the Hub on the opening screen going around in circles.

7. One utube had me do the same thing in the Task Manager deleting GHUB stuff.

I left it loading all night last night, it was still spinning this morning. Restarted and it's just circling the drain again.. Won't let me in.

Let's start with those that I've know I've done.

I went to the device Manager also with a utube video. It had me try and upgrade my Mouse item and it restarted my computer say I had an error, nothing changed. I tried the same thing with Keyboard and it restarted my computer saying I have error or something like that. Nothing changed then either when I restarted.

If installing the app again didn't work maybe a part of Windows got corrupted with the power loss, first start with basic Windows repair.

I did go check windows and it said I was up to date. I should have added that, but I'll go check your link and let's see what happens.

I don't have time to do all that at the moment. If windows says everything is ok, would it not show an error? Just asking as I don't know the answer. I did an update to windows, ok.

Yeah I'm on about repairing windows not updating it, Windows built in repair tool is hit and miss but worth a shot.

I called Logi Support, they send me an e-mail where to delete everything and save my save file. Basically the same I was doing, it still didn't work. I'm waiting to hear back from the tec. Yes, I have my own tec person, Sean. (a she)

They also asked for info everything including the color of my, nevermind. We'll see what they say with just a "It didn't work 1st."

Un plug key board for 30 minutes let any capicitors discharge

Try a different computer too see if same problem.

If still does it it is ketboard problem if not hten it is software issue

The keyboard works fine. It's the LGHUB that won't open so my stting will kick in for both the keyboard lights and the G29 Rotation of the steering wheel.

Try uninstalling all that Logitech software, reboot and install latest version of whatever is needed and see if that helps.

Thanks, I've done this several times. Maybe my tec person will get back with me. No text yet.

Ha, my personal tec person at Logitec Gaming is Ghosting me. And it says "Feel free to contact me with this e-mail." Or something like that. It doesn't say"And I'll get back with you soon as possible."

I've sent a couple more, but no answer.

She got back with me yesterday and went into my spam folder. Her new method hasn't worked yet either. GHUB still won't open.

go into your c drive / program files and program x86 files and delete all logitech leftover
files restart computer and reinstall ghub.granted first uninstall ghub before you delete leftover files.
