Well done for proving my point, but, that isn't how math works.
1440p is not double 720p, it is quadruple the pixel count.
720p is 921,600
1080p is 2,07,300
1440p is 3,686,400
4k, well 3840x2160 is 8,294,400 pixels
So, yeah, 1440p is a huge step up from both 720p and 1080p, this, you were making no argument worth countering and just spewing your ideas as incorrect facts.
Have a nice day.
While I agree cards should be used within reason, the 5070 is not a great card and every test I've seen, the 9070xt steamrolls it, though, overclocking could make a big difference, but, overall, the 5070 should be labeled as a 5060, it's not even the same chip as the 5070ti.
Any GPU released now with less that 16GB VRAM is an insult to gamers.
The RTX 5070 does not have low/mid tier pricing.
There are various upscaling & frame generation methods available & they are gradually improving.
The longevity of a GPU is enough VRAM.
So we basically have (length by width)
Then 2 * (length by width) becomes 2* Length and 2* width
Length and width are two different units.
Literally no one asks, "what is the 'area' of your monitor in square pixels?"
I won't alter the post as I believe in owning upto a mistake not trying to cover it up, so, I apologise, I was wrong.
You are still wrong about it not being marketing or that 1440p with dlss just being 1080p though.
But, I should of taken the time to properky read your post, your math was correct.
I saw a reddit post with an "email from new egg" saying they put more out on that date and time. I hope it's real!
Now the question is~ which brand I should go for? That isn't 3 8-pin connector and awful high price.
