What Kingston models specifically?
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
9/10 of mine have been used every day and easily lasting upwards of 10 years and still not below 90% life-span
Model #2 Name CT500BX500SSD1 (FW: M6CR061)
i hope the os is not installed on the toshiba hdd
that thing is super slow even for spinning rust
https://www.harddrivebenchmark.net/hdd.php?hdd=TOSHIBA%20HDWD110&id=10817
Sequential Read 175 MBytes/Sec
Sequential Write 164 MBytes/Sec
get a m.2 nvme drive, install windows on that,
and put games on the 500g crucial ssd
if you need more space get a 4+tb hdd, or 2+tb sata ssd for them
but a m.2 nvme ssd is so much faster
the board has a slot for one
if steam is trying to install a game on the toshiba hdd (hdd is mechanical drive with moving parts)
it will thrash it, trying to read/write file at the same time, which a hdd cannot do
the hdd does have 64mb cache, but its not very fast and not enough
newer hdds 1-2tb have 128-256+mb cache, so they can pre-read and store before writing to disk
What are you talking about that is “at 100”
