I need help to come back and play tf2
Guys I need your support, I haven't played tf2 since 2016, Things happened on life but things are good now.

I was searching for a simple laptop not too expensive or very high tech but enough to run tf2 at medium or low graphics.

a found a laptop to buy being a inspiron 1545 Dell with a Intel Mobile core 2 duo T9400 penryn 45nm technology.

2.53ghz/4gb/320gb/Windows 10 Pro.

it says the storage the 320GB.

and it shows intel Mobil intel 4 series express chipset family (dell).

I need your help if it will be able to handle the game, on high, medium or low graphics, but I happy with medium and low.

That is a 15 year old laptop.
It would play TF2, however, that is more than a decade old; the CPU was discontinued in 2012 and originally launched in 2008.

How much is whomever is selling this charging? You can get a much newer and better performing laptop for decent prices

What is "not too expensive" for you?

For example you can get a Lenovo with a Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon graphics, 16GB of memory, and a 256GB SSD for $299 right now.

TF2 isn't a "newer source game". It is a game from 2007 and the specs they noted are above the minimum requirements.

Minimum:
OS *: Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP
Processor: 1.7 GHz Processor or better
Memory: 512 MB RAM
DirectX: Version 8.1
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 15 GB available space

But I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest whoever is trying to sell it to the OP... it very likely isn't a good value. If they are getting it for something like $20 then sure it'd be an ok option. Otherwise it isn't a good value considering you can get a decent entry-level new laptop in the $250-$300 price range that will be much better performance, and not be deprecated at the end of next year (e.g. Windows 10 EoL is October 2025).
Guys selling that for $100. (Sigh), Than I will have to at least spend on one around $250-300

If not a problem can you guys help me getting a good laptop at Ebay or around? I will have to start saving but I will sure get a better one than just and old outdated laptop, just wanted the cheapest just to run that game and nothing else lol.

The store page says you are incorrect. You are conflating TF2 with Counter Strike; they are different games. While TF2 has continually received updates to game balance and content (e.g. the Hat meta) it's system requirements haven't changed as they have not significantly updated the engine.

There has been discussion more recently however that they may be looking at overhauling it like they did with CS:GO -> Counter Strike 2; so that could change in the future.

@OP If you are going to save up so you can get something in that $250-$300 price rage then you can get something new during a sale at a decent retailer so you'd have a warranty, etc.

However, if you do look on eBay and search for some of the larger brands gaming models you can also find some listings for some of them that are a few generations old but would still be a good option for you. For example if you search for Acer Nitro5 and sort by price you'll find some listings that only have a day left (as of writing this) with a current bid around $150 for a 15" Acer Nitro 5 with a 12th gen Intel CPU and a mobile RTX 3050 GPU. You might not end up being able to win the auction for that price but worth looking for in your case.

I found something like this
Acer Nitro AN515-54-5659 N18C3 15.6" i5-9300H 2.4GHz 8GB RAM 512GB SSD GeForce GTX 1650.

I mean I like the price but I will play more than at least tf2 and do other stuff.

That would easily play TF2 and would play most games up through games released about 4-5 years ago. It'd also play a lot of the lighter weight "indi" games released now that are not as graphically demanding.

Just as another word of caution, make sure you throughly read the ebay listing when buying stuff on there. Make sure you aren't looking at something that is listed "As is" or for "Parts only" as people will sell broken things that don't work so people can use the working parts of them to fix other things.

Good luck, hope you find a good deal

TF2 will NOT run on those requirements anymore. The game has definitely got harder to run. All the hats, particle effects, skins, larger maps, larger player counts has all affected the games performance. The game will not even launch on the minimum requirements, and the recommended is unplayable. While TF2 will run on any modern machine fine, its single core CPU performance that will give you the best uplift in performance if your GPU is already sufficient.
