Games coming out that require Ray tracing are simply either going to get laughed at, modded, or boycotted. The fact that game developers are talentless now isn't helping anything either.
dude we can see it even if you cant.......
as for AMD VS NgreedyA......its not worth supporting team green anymore.....they are only after the profit margins and that means you lose with every card bought from them....my 3080 will be mast last NgreedyA regardless of what the market does.....just like NZXT ASUS and MSI, NgreedyA is DEAD TO ME
for years we've been working up the resolution ladder.. using multisample or supersample to up the resolution even beyond physical.. now you try to tell me using LOWER res is better ?? seriously its both marketing crap
I love it when old timers click in......for years it was SUPER SAMPLING play games at 1080p on your 1600x900 monitor.......now its play 720p at 4k.......
i don't think OP cares about your first two points. FSR does frame generation slop better than DLSS but it's simply worse at upscaling
With a cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
The motherboards I’ve being looking at:
1. Asus ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME EATX AM5 Motherboard
2. Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) EATX AM5 Motherboard
3. MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
What motherboard would you recommend?
Would go with X870 mobo, that way you will have latest chipset that will be upgrade worthy and relevant longest.
Any particular one of the X870 Mobo?
Yes, it has been on top of the X870 tier lists that I have seen so good choice.
In some ways it can even be a downgrade as all x670 and x670e have double chipset when only x870e is a double chipset option. x870 non e has a single chipset.

There is no difference in gaming performance as well as long as there is no VRM limitation what is not a problem for 8 core CPUs.
FSR and DLSS is pretty much par at this point and the mods that swap one for the other have pretty much proven dev tuning is what makes or breaks one or the other.
As for energy efficiency everyone like to pretend VRAM doesn't take power. In most tiers they are as efficient as each other.
But yeah, Linux support is night and day.
Nvidia dragged their feet on wayland support for almost 10 years and they also 6 years behind on proper Vulcan support.
Want to use Proton? For AMD the HD 7000 from 2012 cards and up support everythig you need. Nvidia? That'll require the 20 series and up otherwise you lose 40%+ performance.
Pointing out what? Nobody should be recording in x264 anymore and the other encoders are par now with sub 2% deltas. The biggest Delta is between Intel and the rest, you gonna start gaming on ARC just because is has better quality that you don't even notice?
