it s hard to find Ryzen 7500F at the moment . The best budget CPU is 12100F , next are i5 12400f/13400F .
for me processors cost almost the same 12400f 20-30$
motherboard no overpayment
ddr 4 vs ddr5 almost twice the overpayment
I want to assemble it and in a couple of years just update the processor
I’ll just waste all the money I saved early (for beer)

in 5 years almost the whole PC needs upgrade , DDR4 is still good . You havent said much on what you re planning and what is your budget .
budget does allow building on Ryzen 7500x
, but not at once, for games
approximately 500$ (cpu+motherboard+ddr)
Ddr5 is a lot cheaper now, in Australia at least, it is only 20% more expensive than ddr4.

Forthe more entry or mid level ddr4 you can pick up top tier ddr4 still, but, it is improving rapidly.

Im running 2 systems, a 13400 with ddr4 3600 and a 13900k with ddr4 4400, the 13400 is more than fast enough for the majority of gaming, even with a little 3050 it handles everything fine, (the gpu is definetly the weak point).
