Switch pro controller - afterglow - issues
My son was excited to buy a new wireless controller which he could use on the onn android TV box in our office, he got the afterglow made by PDP. Before we went to the store I looked to make sure the switch controllers were supported by steam, they are. When we started setting everything up, the controller pairs and works in the android TV menu and it navigates the steam link app fine. But once a session is launched the controller does nothing in big picture mode except for "B" which works as it should. No thumb or Dpad response. When I go into to look at the controller configuration in Big Picture it says that no controller was detected, even though 1 button works.

We tried both wired and Bluetooth directly to his PC and that all works as expected in big picture mode locally.

We then tried the old steam link, the physical unit, it behaves the same as the android TV; menus work but only the "B" works in Big Picture mode.

I have enabled the switch pro controller profile in steam but it still does not work through a remote session on either steam link device. Works absolutely perfectly connected to the host computer directly.

Seems odd, especially considering that the device is supposed to work on the dedicated SL hardware, I do see that the switch controller is not listed for Android though.

I would just get him a afterglow wireless Xbox controller....if they made one....

Kid is pretty bummed and I am a bit annoyed. Any suggestions?
