[Question] Logitech G Pro Lightspeed Wireless, Polling rate (Hz)

Hello. Just a quick question about Logitech G Pro Lightspeed Wireless. Can I save Polling rate (Hz) settings on onboard memory and Uninstall G HUB, will these settings I created be saved or do I need to use Logitech G HUB and there is no any other way? Thank You so much!

Everything you change; button mappings, macros, DPI, Polling Rate can all be saved to the Mouse onboard ROM with such a Mouse. Every Logitech mouse I've been using since around 2011 or so has been this way.

I would not then uninstall the Logitech software; simply keep it installed, but remove it from the OS Startup.

This way it will still be quickly available should you wish to make changes.

just disable ghub/lgs from startup after profiles are saved to the mouse

unless you need them for other k/m macros that cannot be saved to the device


lgs/ghub are only really needed if you use them to change macro profiles for games/apps

If using a game specific profile then yes you need to run that software in the background; otherwise no.

Everything from the profile can be saved to the mouse. I originally uninstalled Ghub, as it sucks, but after wanting to change a few bindings for Keyboard and mouse I started just disabling it from Start-up that way it's ready to go when I actually want to us it.

There are 2 mouses: Logitech G Pro Wireless and Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT. Both have on on-board memories? I mean, do they have 5 profiles each? I've never had Logitech mouse, no idea, how this is working. I had only Razer mouses.

Well the mouse itself has 1 profile. It keeps another one hidden though I think. As a default settings profile. If you want to save and easily switch profiles you'd need to use the software to do that.

Like I said I've used Logitech for many years and even before all this Logitech "G" Gaming series their mice had the on-board ROM allowing settings to be saved to the mouse so that should you want to use the mouse on other PCs that whatever you saved to the mouse would go with you on the go so when using say your work laptop or a friend, family or customers PC that you'd have your favorite mouse settings with you via the mouse on-board ROM and thus wouldn't need the software on those other machines just to change things like polling rate or dpi.

If in doubt you can always check the detailed specs and such on the Logitech product pages and it would state if it has such an option. It's usually only the very basic, cheapest entry mice that would not have the on-board ROM. When you load up the Logitech GHub software, you will notice a toggle switch option of sorts (Desktop vs Mouse) you use Desktop Mode to save and use settings via that local system. You use Mouse option to switch to what is on the mouse ROM, or to go make changes to the profile on-board the mouse ROM.
