Whats the best settings when gaming on a laptop gtx 1650 8gb ram. I want to make sure I have good fps staying between the 60 to 144 with no lag or when moving around in certain maps I don't lag or stuter. Also best black ops 3 settings for the gtx

Bc all I care is wanting to play the game without a lot of lag or stuter or crashes I can care much about graphics if they are okay that's fine but really care about my fps to play though also other suggestion to when I don't play does the setting automatically switch back to default if I don't game and uses low power games without power cord if I want to move from my room to another room. Also include good apps that keeps my laptop up to date I do have some not a lot tho but wanted to see if there is any best software that wouldn't harm my pc at all also need to make sure if no errors are happening if they don't display on my screen I wanna make sure to check to make sure everything is running properly just had the laptop for 12 days new

i ve got GTX 1650 desktop , i know exactlly its capabilities . The laptop variant is a bit slower .

I know I'm playing bo3 but it's play okay just gotta do more adjusting bc my fps goes crazy fast moving from 60 to 100 fps during game but at the main menu of bo3 it stays at 100 to 144

Why do people ask such things. Just load up a game and tweak the graphics settings until you have an FPS range you are comfortable with. That's how PC Gaming always has been, period. Nothing more to say or suggest.

Yes ignore whatever FPS you see in Main Menu and Loading Screens. You have to see what the FPS range is within the actual gameplay / game-world.

For most games you can just select a graphics preset and be done with it. If the FPS is poor, exit out and lower the preset. If you feel the need to you could select things like High Texture Quality, but then lower other non-essentials such as Shadow Quality, Reflection Quality, Anti-Aliasing, Depth of Field, Motion Blur; etc.

There are plenty of help by simply going to YouTube; then search by:
CPU model + GPU model + Game Name

Example of such a search; either via something like Google or YouTube...

On 15 inch or lower size laptops, you set resolution to 720p.
Because of small screen size, the PPI ratio is good, It won't look blurry.

Yes setting to 720/768p helps quite a bit.
But if it is a 1080p/144Hz Display then you pretty much don't want to do that as you then probably can't use but maybe 60Hz if you do.
