I have the ASUS DirectCU II GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB and love it!
Well it depends, first off what resolution are you gaming at?? if it's only 1080P then 770 will perfect for 1080P, but if you play at any higher resolution then 780 or 780 ti will do.
Why not crossfire another r9 270X?
I love my R9 270x, but I'm wanting to move over to Nvidia. And I just play games at 1080p. Going any higher right now isn't too much of a concern for me. I just want a card that can preform better than what I'm doing now. I get great performance with my R9 but it could be better.
This is my GPU. Absolutely adore it. I only run @1080p (only, not even the new gen of consoles can do that effectively on all games) and I get all the added extras of full physx (which is nice) and I am running as cool as you like for most games - not hotter than 55 - 60 degrees on my GPU. On benchmarks (which are synthetic and do not represent full "real world" usage) my card beats a single Titan. Bit lower on the VRAM than a Titan but it kicks the Titan's butt in most of the benchmarks. It cost a bit but I am safe in the knowledge that I will not be compromising on fidelity for frames.

in a couple of years the 880 will be lowering its prices lol.
Just wait until the next series like the 800 series. lol
You won't see much diffrence in performance if you move up from the 770 to 780 since they perform pretty close together.
