First time build. Help needed.
I know that there are tons of these threads and I searched to see if any could help but I feel as if they didn't help so here I am. I have never built a PC before so I was looking up videos to basically mimic someone elses bulid because this is all a different language to me. I stumbled upon this

http://www.tested.com/tech/pcs/454052-small-quiet-fast-building-modern-gaming-pc/

For those that didn't scroll the article.

The System Specs

Part Price
Case BitFenix Prodigy $90
Power Supply Seasonic 660W Platinum $155
Motherboard Gigabyte Z77N-WiFi $129
CPU Intel Core i7 3770K $329
CPU Cooler Intel RTS2011LC $80
Memory Kingston 16GB HyperX LoVo $129
Graphics Card Asus GeForce GTX Titan $1049
Main Storage Crucial M4 512GB SSD $340
Optical Drive Asus BW-12B1ST Blu-Ray $79
OS Windows 8 Pro $140
Total $2520

I loved this because it was small and it seemed like it could do everything I wanted it to do. So I set out to buy the parts and quite a few of them I couldn't find/said there is a newer model but I am not sure that the new model would fit into the case. Here is where the help is needed. I wanna use the Titan(assuming it can run Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein on max settings *fingers crossed*) but what else could I switch out/upgrade, since I can't seem to find some of these parts, while maintaining a price tag of $2,600 or less? I game a lot. Like a lot. For real like at least 60 hours a week(I am a stay at home dad) if not more.

The reason I am basing it off of this build is because there is a step by step video of it and from what the video said it is a fairly high end gaming rig. So I would like to keep it in sync with this video so I can just watch it while building it.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help/input provided! :D

Good gaming pc in general, but I would recommend changing some things.

First off, tomorrow their releasing new intel processors and intel boards, so I would change mobo and cpu to z97 mobo and i7 4790K.

And 2nd, titan is not a gaming card, you can game on it, but that isn't its purpose. Get a gtx 780 ti which is faster than titan.

That is about it, execpt get windows 8.1 pro instead of 8 so you don't have to hassle to upgrade to 8.1.
This is outdated and too expensive build, GTX 780 Ti is better then old Titan and cheaper.
No point using older 1155 CPU and motherboard anymore.
If you want great looking small PC with quality parts then this:

And yes like HBZK100 said if you can wait a little you can go with i7-4790K and Asus Maximus VII Gene Z97 motherboard instead of I7-4770K and Asus Maximus VI Gene Z87.

That was fast! Thanks a ton guys! Also Rumpelcrutchskin could I still basically follow this video with that build?

Even though you didn't ask my opinion, ill just throw it out there LOL.

Yeah you can, and you don't have to follow that exact build, you can follow basically any computer build video.
Sorry HBZ it didnt show your comment to me until I was posting my comment. Lol. Thank you though. I can work a computer pretty well but building is very confusing to me so anything that will keep it simple. I plan on picking up parts here and there but not building until I gradute college. Kind of a graduation present to mself :p

When it takes a little while to build this PC then certainly wait for i7-4790K and Asus Maximus VII Gene Z97 motherboard. All other parts in my build are modern and go with either options.

You can search the youtube for "Corsair 350D build", should be plenty of videos.

Ah, my favorite board since I started looking at pcs was the maximus gene series!
Why a Titan!?? It's far too overpriced. It gets less FPS than a 780ti and it costs £300 more! Its 6GB of Vram is useless and overkill. Also 16GB is a complete waste if you game, as you will never use over 5GB- so you might as well be chucking £30 (or whatever the cost is for the extra 8GB) down the drain as you'll never use it. Also to "Max" out games you need SLI 780TIs (@ 1080p with maxed AA/AF), maybe even tri-way SLI.

Personally, I would get a HDD along with that SSD, get a Windows 8.1 disc instead of normal 8, and reduce the RAM to 8GB(you don't need 16GB for gaming).

One thing that really pisses me off about Intel is they NEVER drop there prices regardless of new Chipsets coming out! Example the i5 3570k and i7 3770 k are the same price now like they were when they 1st came out,If they were to drop the price a bit to compete with Amd iam pretty sure people like myself wouldnt mind making the Switch to Intel from the Amd side.
Thanks everybody for all the help and tips. I am super excited to start gathering the parts and attempt a build. Also Tris I believe that is the video card Rumpel put in the build he made that I am gonna try to mimic.

EDIT: Another noob question. I can only seem to find quad-core processors yet Watch Dogs says 8 core on Ultra?
