My Old Laptop (Operating System That's Best)

So I was looking around in my closet, and I found my old 2006 HP Laptop. It runs Windows 7 alright, though after an hour of continuous use it slows down. I was wondering what operating system would run fastest on my old Laptop:

Specs:

Processor: Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2060 @1.60GHz
RAM: 1GB
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 32 bit
Graphics: Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family

Uhh no! Arguably the greatest OS of all time is not "just Crap"... If it was still supported I'd be building my new computer with it. But with a name like that you have an obvious bias I understand.

This. XP is still my favorite Windows os of all time. Unfortanatley, it is getting old and won't support most games now. I now use Windows 7, my second favorite.

U should have XP on-hand that came with that laptop, I would just use that.
As 1GB RAM is really cutting it close with Win7.
