What Graphics Card

I have this run of the mill a bit rubbish PC and i want to upgrade the graphics card but i don't know much about PC's.Any ideas of what card i could put in this to boost game performance a bit?? The Power supply on it is 450w i think!!! looking for a card around the £100 mark

You might want a Nvidia GTX 750, it costs around $150 USD(£89) and should play games fairly well. The 450w power supply should be enough to handle that.

Exactly what Air said above^.

The gtx 750 and 750 ti only consume 60W max, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Ok thanks for your help fellas.I know the i3 processor i have is a bit crap but im hoping a better graphics card will at least make it a bit better

actually the i3 is rather decent. The other parts of your PC are probably worse than the CPU.

i3 is crap?! It beat all the AM3 CPUs up to Phenom II X4 965 BE.. o.O .

Anyway, how much are you looking to spend ? Do you want to buy a power supply and a big daddy video card ? Are you wanting to try and upgrade the processor too ?

Well i wanted to try and get away with minimal upgrades for now as money is a bit tight,but at the same time make it a bit better,so i thought a better GPU would be a good place to start.I really am a noob when it comes to PC so i don't really know what i am doing tbh

I would obviously like an i5 or i7 in the future but that's all a bit expensive at this time.As you can see i kinda rushed into this PC buying and brought a not very good pre built :-( but any advice for me will be welcome and i will make a note of it all

I3 I would say is equal to fx 6300. If you play both single threaded and quad threaded games.
