Second best is i5-4670K.
You would get better performance with 6-core 2011 but money needed for rig like this is usually too much for average gamer.
Both of these CPUs can be found at the same prices as well.
i5-4570 and 1150 motherboard leaves you with more options for future upgrades also. AMD is pretty much dead end.
But from what I heard it's really badly optimized and leans very heavily on CPU.
AMD CPUs are better for 3d work.
However, since you mentioned only i5 and fx 8350, i believe it would be the fx 8350.
Ok, 2 more questions
1) Which do think will be better for next-gen gaming which uses more cores. Fx-8350 or i5? ( As previously said in this post, there are maybe few games that will optimize more cores, but still, I would like to know your opinion. )
2) If i5 has more powerful cores, then it probably has a less bottleneck on some of the other components... but would there be much of a noticable difference with the fx 8350? Is there much of a bottleneck? ( For example, can it play games like Call of Duty Black ops 2 or Planetside 2 without affecting the GPU very much? )
---} So basically I'm asking is it possible to predict bottleneck effect of the CPU, and which one would probably give more bottleneck.
also,
thanks for all who helped!
BTW... don't get confused with xbox one or ps4 octo core apus. Their games support octo cores but only for those two consoles, not pc.
Neither of them would bottleneck modern equipment.
One thing to consider is that FX-8350 takes twice as much power then i5, you might want to check your PSU if it can handle the difference, also you are looking at electricity bill of about $60-100 per year more then with i5.

Just google the two core names with vs in between, like this: compare Fx-8350 vs i5-4570
Most of the time, you get a similar question someone else asked:
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1822462/4570-amd-8350.html
If you're lucky, you might get some benchmark results, tech comparisons, explanations of power requirements and what that might mean for you...
http://www.game-debate.com/cpu/index.php?pid=1194&pid2=1140&compare=core-i5-4570-3-2ghz-vs-fx-8350
And if you're really, really lucky, you might find a professional review or two:
http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/370/AMD_FX-Series_FX-8350_vs_Intel_Core_i5_i5-4570.html
Usually, at the least, you'll get way more information than you'll possibly want to read about. And sometimes...you find nothing helpful at all. Doesn't hurt to look though.

Get rid of the stock AMD cooler and get a good one, like Hyper212 EVO. It'll run very well even when OC'ing. Keep the system clear of dust and if changing your cooler isn't a good option for you, add more case fans to allow for better overall airflow.
To the OP ~ You will always get mixed reviews/suggestion when asking such a question, some people just have a personal preference/like for Intel or AMD, not much u can do about that.
Basically it boils down to what you want to use the system for; since it is gaming I would suggest Intel.
When comparing Intel i5 4670K vs AMD FX-8350; an 8350 will end being around the same consider u pretty much require using a 3rd party cooler with the FX-8 series CPUs.
If you have a MicroCenter store near you, you can get really good discounts on walk-in store prices on CPUs in general.
Intel is usually a better investment due to better chipset, overall throughput, slightly faster sata (especially for SSD performance); and when choosing a motherboard, helps to get one that has Intel Wired Ethernet/LAN, as those are much better compared to others like Realtek or Broadcom.
Are you on drugs? A 4770K is expensive and overkill for any gaming rig, especially for the games listed.
I personally have a 4670K and love it, but that's simply because I'm a strictly Intel and nVidia user, but there are cheaper AMD processors that are similar to the i5, such as the 8350.
Bascially, I'd go with the i5.
