Yes, i3 is lower wattage than i5 & i7 so stock cooling will be good.
Start watching temps on gpu when they reach 80C, and for cpu watch when it reaches 70-75 Celcius.
also, the evga gtx750ti card , its supringly a insane performer, i have a gtx750 my self and have been blown away but the performave great choice in graphics for the $. and sinse u got that card, hes right u should be fine as the card uses half the power of compared cards.. theres no 6 pin plug in for the card. so yeah 500watt mininmum, iwould be freking out thow if i saw my temps hit even 60c
i5 is lot better in long run and you dont need to upgrade nearly as soon. GTX 660 is more powerful 192-bit card.
Corsair 200R case is lot better quality then those Rosewills.
Stock CPU cooler is fine if you dont overclock.
CX430 is quite capable PSU and has no problem running i5 and GTX 660.
ya I really don't have that extra $120 to spend on parts or else I would get an i5 for sure. I'm not gonna be playing anything crazy just CS:GO and a few other game nothing to graphically intense just need a new computer, but this should last me tell I wanna start upgrading in a year or so. Thanks for the input tho.
I actually went to intel's website and they say up to 72C { http://ark.intel.com/products/77480/Intel-Core-i3-4130-Processor-3M-Cache-3_40-GHz?wapkw=i3+4130 under Package Specifications it says 72C does that mean if it goes over that I should watch out? } does there processors have something where they like "shutdown" if it starts to get too hot? Thanks for the answers!
I don't really have the extra $ to go with a 650W but with the setup I have 430 should be fine? Thanks for the comment I'll look into the thermal paste.
I would wait a bit and save that bit extra for a good quality PSU. You want a PSU that will power all your components and still have headroom afterwards. The reason I say that is because you're going to be gaming which'll push your components towards full power, which means your PSU will be working harder to power all of them @430W. As HBZK says, a 500W minimum for that kind of set-up would be ideal because it won't be working as hard as the 430W to push the same amount of power.
But if you just do not have the money to get a better psu than 430W. That one will still be fine, just make sure any other components you put in are not power hungry.
Take a look at the site I have provided a link for. It will calculate the minimum power supply needed for the components for your build. Just fill in the lists with what you're planning on getting and it will give you a total wattage which you should use as your minimum powered PSU for the machine. Ideally you want to exceed it. So if it says 500 W minimum, get a 600W for the headroom.
I said ♥♥♥♥ it and added a 500W psu, thanks for the advice.
I picked this up yesterday and fitted it five minutes ago. Very reasonably priced and more than suitable for what you're looking for.
